Nature's mother attractiviness at 'Van Gogh, Rousseau,Corot'.In het Bos.' exhibition,Amsterdam.

Theodore Rousseau and Camille Corot the French painters where among who retreated to the Forest of Foutainebleau in order to paint its stunning beauty which never was changed.
Trees,vegetation and the play of light and shade on the foliage and the ground were the artistic compelling with the exciting that attract them to describe it's beauty.
Vincent van Gogh worked also as much as possible out of doors,in the midst of nature, without fail in the midst of nature, invariably directing his gaze at the trees, woodland and undergrowth.
                    This summer Van Gogh's Museum Amsterdam,The Netherlands exhibition 
                                         From 7 July to 10 September 2017,
                       display works by Van Gogh, Rousseau and Corot with artworks from the collection of the Van Gogh Museum and others but also from The Mesdag Collection,
under the title:'Van Gogh, Rousseau, Carot'.

Tree Roots is a view of a slope with tree trunks and roots which are used for timber, growing in a marl quarry as the specialists from Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam explained.
'Such quarries that could be found around Auvers was probably Van Gogh's very last artwork.
Andries Bouger the brother in law of Vincent's brother Theo, described it in a letter:'The morning before his death, he had painted  asous-bois(forest scene) full of sun and life'.

'Undergrowth' artwork by Van Gogh shows a corner of the garden at the asylum in Saint-Remy.
'I also have a new one with ivy on the go..'he wrote to his brother Theo.
'..Above all, dear fellow, I beg of you don't fret or worry or be melancholy on my account,the idea that you would do so,certainly in this necessary and salutary quarantine, would have little justification when we need a slow and patient recovery.
If we manage to grasp that, we spare our forces for this winter.
I imagine that winter be quite dismal here, anyway will however have to try and occupy myself.
I often imagine that I could retouch a lot of last year's studies from Arles this winter..'

Marc Chagall's Calvary in The Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam

Marc Chagall's masterpiece 'Calvery',1912 is a depiction of his super reality, alogical, and  irrational imagination as Guillaume Apollinaire refer to him as a ' surrealist' and as Andre Breton call also him the 'Pope of Surrealism'.

Frans' Post 34 unknown drawings at The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. The Netherlands.

Spectacular discovery of 17th century Golden Age the drawings by Frans Post(1612-1680) which are on display at The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam from 7 October 2016 to 8 January.
Under the title 'Frans Post.Animals in Brazil' the exhibition present 34 unrecognized for centuries artworks by Frans Post from Haarlem-The Netherlands-which were discovered in the Noord-Holland Archief, Haarlem,created by Frans Post in the years 1637-1644 when he worked in Brazil.
The first European artist who painted landscapes and therefore of South Africa but as we know now also animals in Brazil, Frans Post contemporary of Frans Hall traveled in 1636 to Dutch Brazil at the invitation of Johan Maurits van Nassau-Siegen.
