Through his favorite yellow sunflowers...is coming back home Van Gogh.

The new main entrance to the Van Gogh Museum-home is going to be open for public on 5 September.
But as I believe the highly significant artist... passed already the new transparent made of plate glass entrance  through the labyrinth of 125.000 sunflowers which are there from yesterday place of  honour to him from the Van Gogh Museum.

The ' sunflowers behind garden' of the Van Gogh Museum until Sunday 6 September - free for the public to walk inside Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September-  is not only a symbol of  respect and admire to Van Gogh but also the definition of  his obvious and unique  relation with this kind of flowers.
He painted initial versions of sunflowers. In late summer 1888 he began painting his lovely plants and continued for years. He depicted the sunflowers in all stages of life and beauty from full bloom to withering.
He wrote to his brother Theo.
'....It is a kind of painting that rather changes in character and takes on a richness the longer you look at it...Gauguin likes them extraordinarily. He said to me among other things. ' You know that the peony is Jeannin's  the hollyhock belongs to Guost but the sunflowers is somewhat my own...'
In letter 527 he wrote also '...Now that I hope to live with Gauguin in a Studio for our own, I want to make decorations for the studio. Nothing but big flowers..'
The director of The Van Gogh MuseumAxel Ruger during the press conference about the new entrance-
building of the Van Gogh Museum emphasized the necessity of  creating a transparent modern glass building in connection with the old historical one so that the unit of  contemporary architecture and Gerrit Rietveld's architecture (1973) can be in a characteristic harmony with the environment.

As he said it's entire plan was following exactly the program  about the time of 16 months from the beginning to end and is realized the budget of 20 millions euro.
