At 'The power of objects' 25 well known designers clearly have illustrated their new forms via a generation that combine the many interests and desires with now days multiplicity of demands. Even it is difficult to keep up with the number of talented designers in Belgium, the organisers have chosen the group of the current Belgian artists who are representative as possible.
They selected not on the basis of  name or fame but on the number of products they have already to the market in the course of their career. That happened so because according to the organisers the process from designer to producer is what determines the essence of design.
