September 2010 started the exhibition " Fashion, the Story of a lifetime", in Dubai and one year later, September 2011 in VU universiteit in Amsterdam.

The magical power of fashion by the fashion-photographer FC Gundlach who is regarded as the most important fashion photographer of West Germany's post war period is to be seen in VU Universiteit Amsterdam and to feel Gundlach's sense in a unique language.
                                                                      FC Gundlach.
The artistic work of FC Gundlach- portraits, fashion photos, photojournalism and architectural- point out his special way of  looking  through materials and expression of the models...
His photographic approach has  been described as an epigrammatic clear style, with rational elements.
Since the mid 1960s the 28 m-m wide lens is his tool of expression. He goes closer to the models and he creates his own sense for the construction of images.
Gundlach's structuralism in photo-art prioritize the precision of communication and sensual and formal factors are going together in a perfect balance.

The FC Gundlach Foundation .

" From the outset the image of man has been subject of photographic produsing. Of particular importance are those photographic pictures that disclose , beyond their being historical documents, new perspectives on human dignity and vulnerability."

Taken from the preamble of the FC Gundlach Foundation, which the artist established in 2000 to promote photography as an artstically and socially cultural asset.
